Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Skilled Labourer to join our team! In this role you will get to support site operations and Care & Maintenance activities at Cantung Mine in NWT.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Travel to Cantung Mine for rotations of approximately 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off
• Performs non-routine and occasionally heavy labor tasks related to on-site operations that could include: water, wastewater and waste processing, general and skilled labour tasks, support equipment maintenance and other activities as directed by the Mine Manager.
• Operates trucks, pumps, vacuum equipment,generators, and other machinery/equipment. Establishes and maintains appropriate logs of activities.
• May give some leadership and guidance to lower level Technicians or labourers onsite.
• Prepares required field reports of various activities and findings. May initiate reports and/or establish and maintain logs and records.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Previous experience in construction or mine site activities
• Understanding of fundamentals of Health & Safety
• Willingness to travel to and work at a remote Mine site on a rotational basis
• Valid drivers license
