Essential Responsibilities include:
Manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities for a possessing facility.
Ensure compliance in the areas of personnel security, visitor control (both outgoing and incoming), physical security, document control, and security education as outlined in the NISPOM.
Update and provide initial & annual briefings and education on the overall security programs and related responsibilities.
Provide Foreign Travel briefings, track location and returns, and conduct Foreign Travel Debriefing upon employee’s return.
Manage the storage of classified material in approved containers to include the properly handling and transmission of classified material as needed.
Maintain records of all DD254s issued to the company and prepare DD254s to flow down to subcontractors.
Review industrial security requirements for contracts and proposals.
Manage personnel security clearances in JPAS/DISS, including all initial and periodic investigations, and fingerprint submittals.
Prepare for security assessments, including (DCSA) visits, security audits and self-inspections.
Utilize government databases in the maintenance of security records (eAPP, DISS, ACCS, SWFT, NISS, and SPOT).
Handle security issues and violation and report adverse information as needed in DISS and to DCSA.
Coordinate paperwork for Visit Requests, SCI Nominations, and process personnel security clearances (as required).
Oversee and provide support with all classified meetings held at the facility.
Serve as the primary point of contact for office related maintenance, repairs, and general facility requests.
Ensure conferences and meetings scheduled for our facility are effectively supported.
Preferred/Required Skills and Certifications:
Top Secret clearance with SCI/CI poly eligibility Required
Completion of FSO certification for possessing facility Required
Bachelor’s degree Preferred and/or equivalent years of experience in security required
Minimum 5 years of FSO experience Required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge and experience in managing classified programs
Decision making and reasoning skills
Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Operations Manual (NISPOM)
