Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable HR Director to support the Infrastructure Solutions (IS) sector, Business Development, and Operations teams within the Parsons Engineered Systems (ES) business unit. The IS sector and rest of the business are poised for significant growth, including expanding our international presence. The role combines the best of both HR support worlds; profit and loss and business critical enabling functions. It is perfect for a proactive, hands-on leader who is ready drive impactful HR solutions aligned with our business strategies.

The HR Director will report to the Federal Solutions Senior Vice President of Human Resources and will work closely with the Senior Vice Presidents leading these teams. The successful candidate can be located in the DC region, Huntsville, AL or the Denver/Colorado Springs area and work virtually, but will occasionally be required to travel to Washington, D.C. and other locations around the country as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including compensation, employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational design, change management, and more.

• Collaborate with business leaders, your HR team, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide seamless HR support and guidance to the business.

• Assess present and future HR needs, trends, and problems, and identify opportunities and actions to support business growth.

• Develop and implement initiatives that focus on enhancing employee experience and/or drive manager engagement with an acute focus on improving overall employee attraction and retention.

• Participate in and/or lead HR projects to drive improved alignment of processes, systems, and interdependencies to manage compliance, improve employee engagement, and achieve business expectations.

• Leverage HR data analytics to support decision-making, assess best practices, and identify areas for improvement.

• Support a variety of business growth activities, including new business proposals, program start-ups, and integration activities for acquisitions within the assigned sector.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.

• More than 10 years of progressive and broad HR experience.

• Experience in government contracting.

• Proven ability to manage a diverse group of human resource professionals.

• Ability to provide direction and resolve complex challenges.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to inspire trust, confidence, and consensus among diverse teams or stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.

• Action and results-oriented.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Capture & Proposal experience.

• International acumen and experience.

• Proficiency in Workday.

• Professional certification (PHR or SPHR) or a Master’s degree.

• Security Clearance.

Salary Range: 

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
