Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Inspector to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitors and/or evaluates electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required.

• Provide inspection of electrical equipment installations or modifications, witnesses testing and energization field activities.

• Provide reports on the progress of the Electrical aspects of the project.

• Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Electrical installations

• Monitor the review of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any Electrical components or systems.

• Liaising with the Senior Electrical Engineer and other Engineers and Managers to provide support and guidance as required

• Monitoring all Electrical engineering aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards

• Maintain daily reports documenting work performed by the contractor.

• Field checks installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Associate's or equivalent degree in a technical discipline or construction related field.

• 5+ years of related experience on housing construction projects.

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
