Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Document Controller to lead our document management efforts on large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring all project correspondence, drawings, and submittals are processed with the highest level of accuracy and compliance with ISO 9001 standards

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Systems Management: Administer and lead the utilization of Electronic Document Management Systems, including ACONEX, SharePoint, and Unifier. Manage system access for consultants and contractors.

  • Workflow Oversight: Oversee and expedite workflows for RFIs, NCRs, material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to maintain project momentum.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all project documentation adheres to the Document Management Plan (DMP) and corporate quality assurance standards.

  • Prepare for and lead document control during internal and external audits.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports.

  • Maintain detailed logs and registers for all incoming and outgoing project correspondence and revisions.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise junior document control staff, assigning workloads and providing training on EDMS protocols and filing structures. Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for contractors and vendors regarding document submission procedures and site access permits. Administrative Support:

  • Assist Commercial and Contract teams with RFPs, TQs, and the maintenance of distribution matrices and responsibility registers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in document control and project coordination within the engineering and construction sectors, ideally in the Middle East. Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ACONEX (Certified), SharePoint, Unifier, and DocuSign. High proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional diploma in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration, or Information Management).
