Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Control Department Manager - Arabic Speaker to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of documents and records within the Entity. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizes document workflows, and maintains the integrity and security of all documentation systems. The manager will lead a team and collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient document management practices .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare department operating structure based on Mashroat methodology
  • Implementing Mashroat standard document management processes and procedures
  • Assisting the Client in the selection of an enterprise content management system (ECMS) in line with Mashroat guidelines
  • Implementing the ECMS in accordance with relevant retention legislation
  • Implementing Mashroat Standard Document Numbering Procedure
  • Developing a structure and archiving existing project documents
  • Preparing document management input for contracts
  • Assigning Document Control managers to projects
  • Maintaining functional responsibility for Document Control managers assigned to projects
  • Preparing the document management department knowledge transfer program which includes comprehensive on the job training
  • Develop and implement document management policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Oversee the storage, retrieval, and archiving of physical and digital documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards for document handling.
  • Train and manage staff in document management systems and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize document workflows and systems.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and security of documentation.
  • Monitor and report on document management performance metrics.
  • Manage document lifecycle processes, including retention and disposal schedules.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 experiences in document management or records management including 5 years as department manager on large scale projects or organizations.
  • Proficiency in document and content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText, etc.) and typical data management applications.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication (both in English and Arabic), presentation and leadership skills.
  • Experience of working internationally. KSA experience preferred.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Certification in Document Management or Records Management (e.g., CDIA+, CRM).
  • Experience in managing large-scale document management projects.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific document standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
