Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Control Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will be working with one of Parsons long standing, high visibility clients providing document and records management support to the Engineering Support Contractor under the Department of Labor's Facilities and Asset Management Team serving Job Corp Centers across the U.S.
Some of the Assignments You'll Have:
- Processing a variety of document types and records through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
- Updating and maintaining electronic file repositories and databases
- Inventory and filing of contractual and technical documents
- Assisting with organization and maintenance of file room and other storage areas as required
- Updating and maintaining filling repositories and databases
- Copying, scanning, compiling, and assembling documents, drawings, and othe project documentation
- Retrieving and distributing project materials such as drawings, reports, and other project information as requested
What Required Education and Experience We Need You To Bring:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of document and records management experience
- Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience
What Desired Skills and Competencies We'd Like You To Bring:
- Possess a working knowledge of document control work processes and procedures. General understanding and familiarity of document and record keeping principles
- Competent in use of desktop computer and peripherals (Windows)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Can work as part of a team with a positive attitude and ability to work under supervision. Ability to interact effectively with program management and staff.
- Safely lift generally 25 lbs. to assist with organizing documents typically in the form of large size drawings, binders, books, or other materials. Proper PPE will be provided.
