Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevSecOps Platform Project Manager to join our team! As the Project Manager for our enterprise DevSecOps platform, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful delivery and sustainment of mission-critical capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
    • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and roadmaps across multiple concurrent projects and iterations.
    • Collaborate closely with Parsons Project Controllers to perform regular cost estimating, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
  • Technical Direction & Collaboration:
    • Partner with the Chief Engineer to manage the technical direction of the platform, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, security requirements, and customer needs.
    • Oversee the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, coordinating with cybersecurity teams to achieve and maintain compliance with DoD accreditation standards.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Coordination:
    • Work in close coordination with Parsons GovCloud teammates to manage DSOP (DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture) tenant accounts, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient cloud operations.
    • Oversee tenant portfolio management, including onboarding, support, and lifecycle management for multiple platform tenants.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
    • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring proactive communication, regular follow-up, and alignment with customer expectations.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between government stakeholders, technical teams, and industry partners.
  • Reporting & Telemetry:
    • Lead the regular publication of project telemetry, metrics, and status reports to customers, providing transparency into project health, progress, and outcomes.
    • Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Facilitate agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Drive adoption of DevSecOps tools, automation, and best practices across the CBRND enterprise.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in software development, DevSecOps, or IT infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects for federal or defense clients, ideally within CBRND or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST, STIGs).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DoD Cloud environments).
  • Prior experience supporting CBRND missions or similar defense programs.
  • Knowledge of containerization, infrastructure as code, and automation tools.

Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00
