Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a visionary Design Lead for our prestigious project in Tabuk, KSA to direct the architectural and engineering design integration for This is a leadership role at the heart of the world’s most ambitious urban experiment. You will move beyond traditional master planning to lead the design of a high-density, 3D vertical city that harmonizes nature, carbon-neutral technology, and ultra-efficient transit.

As a Design Lead, you will ensure that the bold aesthetic vision of THE LINE remains technically feasible, structurally sound, and perfectly integrated with its massive infrastructure backbone.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design Integration: Lead the coordination between international design firms and internal engineering disciplines (Structural, MEP, Infrastructure) to maintain design intent through all project phases.

• Vertical Urbanism Management: Oversee the design of modular "Hidden Marina" sections, high-rise modules, and public realms within the mirror-clad structure.

• BIM & Digital Twin Oversight: Drive the use of Level 3 BIM and digital twins to ensure "Golden Thread" data continuity from concept through to the construction of complex modules.

• Technical Validation: Review and approve design submittals, ensuring they comply with NEOM’s unique Sustainability Code and "The Line" Design Guidelines.

• Innovation Leadership: Champion the use of modular construction, advanced materials, and passive cooling techniques to achieve a zero-car, zero-street environment.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience: Minimum of 12 years in design management for large-scale, complex developments (mixed-use high-rise, transport hubs, or master-planned cities).

• Education: Professional degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering .

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Technical Prowess: Expert-level knowledge of BIM workflows, computational design (Grasshopper/Rhino), and vertical circulation logistics.

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to solve unprecedented design challenges involving extreme density, light penetration, and microclimate control.

• Leadership: Exceptional ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and present complex design solutions to NEOM’s executive leadership and the Proponent team.
