Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to perform as Client HSE Representative to ensure site wide / client local projects in line with client requirements, QCS latest version, relevant International Standards and Qatar Law..

What You'll Be Doing:

• Execute HSE programs that promote Safety culture and development of the city
• Conduct a Verification inspection of the FM Contractors based on the Managing Agent's inspection reports
• Schedule a client HSE walkthrough together with the Managing Agent and the FM Contractors Management Team
• Partake in the accident/ incident investigation for any FM and operations related cases
• Analyze incident/ accident reports from Managing Agent to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct Inspection and compliance audits of Developer Contractors against HSE standards and local regulations as part of due diligence efforts.
• Oversee HSE Events Management
• Conduct scheduled& unscheduled HSE inspections in labor camps to identify hazards, ensure compliance to all relevant HSE regulatory requirements, and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid, and coordination with emergency services.
• Attend trainings for the improvement of HSE performance
• Maintain accurate records related to safety training, incidents, inspections, and any other relevant data
• Prepare reports on HSE performance, incidents, and compliance for review by management
• Liaise with the Authorities for any HSE related issues
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or an engineering discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with city management organizations would be an advantage
• Experience in HSE operations
• Able to advise and support engineering and construction safety related matters
• Working knowledge of city management/ real estate operations
• Experience in Qatar or GCC will be preferred
• Working knowledge of HSE management platform and Microsoft Office applications suite
