Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Administrator. The Incumbent will participate in pre and post-award contract administration functions including fulfilling and meeting contract requirements, negotiations and contract administration. Supports and advises the Senior Resident Construction Manager (SRCM), Section Managers, and the Director of Construction in all legal matters and contractual obligations and or matters to ensure and meet contractual compliance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintains a legal and contractual liaison between Contractor, SAPL and Royal Commission.
- Coordinates with Senior Resident Construction Manager and Resident Construction Engineers relating to field administration, contracts or correspondence.
- Responsible for the timely preparation of legal and contractual documents such as; Letters of Instructions (LOIs), Contract Change Orders/Modifications, Insurance Documents, Sub-Contractor Approval packages, Certificate of Final Acceptance (COFA), drafting contractual correspondence and any other legal or contractual packages as needed or required by Senior Management.
- Prepares and negotiates cost impacts and schedule changes with Contractor for contract Change Orders/ Modifications - as a member of the Construction Negotiation Team
- Prepares contract initial and final acceptance, certificates of maintenance and coordinates contract closeout.
- Prepares and maintains records of activity and status of contracts to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Reviews and assists in resolving and processing claims. back charges, invoices.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Law Degree
- Minimum 0 to 3 years’ experience in contract administration, negotiation, or legal affairs. Fresh graduates can apply.
- Candidate should have strong Arabic and English Languages writing, reading, and speaking and able effectively communicate regarding contracts issues.
- Must have excellent writing skills attention to details and accuracy in work.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Must also be computers literate and skilled in the use of MS Office. (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point) for word processing and presentation of spreadsheets, and use of other analytical software tools.
- Certified Contract Management Associate (CCMA) certificate is an advantage.
