Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage site operations for the iconic NEOM The Line project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing large-scale construction, with a strong background in on-site supervision, quality control, and safety compliance. This is a critical leadership role that requires an individual who can ensure project execution aligns with stringent standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and drawings, providing guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry codes, and safety regulations.
Identify and report potential construction issues, schedule delays, and quality discrepancies to the Project Manager.
Lead site meetings, manage daily logs, and prepare progress reports for management.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and other project teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Manage and monitor material deliveries, equipment usage, and resource allocation to maintain project efficiency.
Review and approve contractor work to ensure it meets contractual obligations and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision on major infrastructure or industrial projects is required.
Demonstrated experience working on large-scale, complex projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
