Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction LSA Admin to join our team!
***This position is on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands and requires long-term mobilization to that location to support the project.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide LSA Site safety oversight to ensure compliance with EM385-1-1 and contract requirements for living space and common areas.
- Plan and provide room preparation and staging for newly incoming personnel and project visitors.
- Identifies maintenance and repair items, provide summary update and coordinate repair work with Project Superintendent.
- Plan, plan and host team building activities, Provide latest locally available activities and events information
- Ensure that provided equipment and facilities are being used and maintained to ensure maximum enjoyment by expat project personnel.
- Develop and maintain effective community emergency action plans for inclement weather, loss of utilities (power/water), shelter in place and related emergencies.
- Assist in inventory of LSA equipment and durable goods.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Education beyond High School level
- Adaptable to remote conditions
- Effective communication
- Ability to stage and prepare containerized living units for assigned personnel prior to their arrival
- Experience in planning and coordination of project appropriate team building events, and social events
- Capable of using laptop and productivity software in support of the assigned work activities.
- Prepare and conduct inventory of durable goods and expendable supplies, and equipment.
- Provide first line oversight to locally employed custodial and laborer staff.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Tactful and effective communicator
- Ability to motivate and enlist individuals to participate in events and gatherings
- Safety awareness for contruction, with EM 385-1-1 10-Hour training certification.
- First Aid/CPR/ Defibrillator User Training
- 7+ years related experience is typically needed to be successful in this role
- Must be a US person and have a valid passport
