Job Description:

CAD/BIM Technician

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking a talented CAD/BIM Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will provide CAD and BIM drafting support for major infrastructure and enabling works, preparing accurate drawings and models while maintaining effective document control to support construction supervision activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare, update, and maintain CAD drawings and BIM models for infrastructure and enabling works projects.

• Develop plans, profiles, details, and layouts in accordance with project standards and technical requirements.

• Coordinate drawings and models with engineers, designers, and site teams based on project requirements and site conditions.

• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document outputs to ensure accurate and controlled information flow.

• Support the preparation of record drawings and as-built documentation.

• Ensure drafting accuracy, quality, and compliance with project procedures and standards.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology or related discipline.

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant CAD/BIM experience on major infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Revit.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work within project deadlines.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities or large-scale development projects.

• Experience working with construction supervision teams and multidisciplinary project environments.

• Familiarity with as-built documentation, handover requirements, and close-out processes.

• Experience on infrastructure projects in the UAE will be an advantage.
