Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Insert Job Title to join our team! In this role you will get to Insert one sentence summary of key job role.

What You'll Be Doing:

• BIM Model Development
  • Create and update 3D BIM models for wet utility systems using Civil 3D, or other BIM software.
  • Model potable water, irrigation, stormwater and sewerage networks.
  • Develop utility structures such as manholes, chambers, valve chambers, tanks, and pump stations.
  • Maintain model accuracy in line with design revisions.
• Drawing Production
  • Generate plans & profiles from BIM models.
  • Ensure drawings comply with project CAD and BIM standards.
• Coordination Support
  • Participate in multidisciplinary coordination activities.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving clashes with roads, structures, buildings, landscape, and dry utilities.
  • Update models based on coordination comments and approved design changes.
• Quality Assurance
  • Follow BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project standards, and company procedures.
  • Perform model checks to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper naming conventions, folder structures, and data management practices are maintained.
• Documentation and Deliverables
  • Prepare model submissions according to project milestones.
  • Maintain records of model revisions and updates.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Autodesk Civil 3D
• Navisworks
• AutoCAD
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360
• InfraWorks (preferred)
• Dynamo (preferred)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Strong understanding of wet utility infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and project workflows.
