Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridges & Elevated Structures Expert to join our team for a prestigious rail project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction of metro/rail projects, with a strong focus on bridges and elevated structures. This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review and validate designs for bridges and elevated structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations.

• Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges related to bridges and elevated structures.

• Oversee the construction activities of bridges and elevated structures, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the structural integrity and durability of bridges and elevated structures.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor construction progress and compliance.

• Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the construction of bridges and elevated structures.

• Collaborate with government authorities, project owners, and other stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.

• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Introduce innovative construction techniques and materials to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into project execution.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in metro/rail projects, with a focus on bridges and elevated structures.

• Proven expertise in the design, construction, and management of large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of international standards and codes related to bridges and elevated structures.

• Familiarity with advanced construction methodologies and technologies.

Skills / Competencies:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in the Middle East region is an advantage.
