Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will get to manage and coordinating the creation, integration, and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM) for projects, ensuring collaboration among all disciplines and adherence to standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

BIM Management & Coordination:

• Oversee the creation, management, and coordination of BIM models throughout the project.

• Collaborate with design teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all models are aligned and meet project requirements.

• Ensure the BIM standards and protocols are followed by the project team.

Modeling & Drafting:

• Prepare and update 3D models, drawings, and construction documentation.

• Support project teams with the integration of design changes into the BIM models, ensuring all changes are properly reflected.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Coordinate between various disciplines (architecture, MEP, structural) to ensure accurate model integration.

• Facilitate model reviews, clash detection, and resolution meetings to address design issues before construction.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for all BIM-related inquiries on the project.

BIM Software & Tools:

• Utilize and maintain BIM software platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to produce and manage models.

• Train and support team members in the use of BIM software tools and ensure best practices are being followed.

Quality Control & Standards Compliance:

• Implement and enforce BIM standards and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across all project models.

• Perform quality checks on BIM models and ensure they are properly documented, meeting client and project specifications.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate BIM documentation, including model revisions, project reports, and clash detection results.

• Prepare regular progress reports for project stakeholders on BIM-related activities, milestones, and potential issues.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on new BIM technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to processes and tools.

• Identify opportunities for BIM to improve project delivery and reduce costs or time delays.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in BIM coordination or a related role in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.

• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, processes, and protocols.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with clash detection, model management, and issue resolution.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience in airport projects or other large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Experience in leading BIM implementation on large-scale airport or infrastructure projects is a plus.
