Job Description:

Assistant Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects that provide innovative and practical solutions for communities. The role supports the management of project scope, performance, and objectives, ensuring alignment with client requirements, contract terms, and company policies. The ideal candidate will gain exposure across all project phases, from inception through to closeout, while developing strong technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supports the Project Manager as the Company representative with the client and subcontractors during project execution.

• Assists in managing scope, tracking changes, and coordinating with key stakeholders.

• Follows up on project instructions, actions, and commitments to ensure timely delivery.

• Supports the preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and QA/QC documentation.

• Assists in defining project requirements and ensuring deliverables meet established standards.

• Contributes to the preparation of project summaries, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.

• Supports the coordination of technical, commercial, financial, and administrative project activities.

• Assists in allocating tasks to project team members based on guidance from senior management.

• Coordinates with internal departments and external consultants to support project delivery.

• Assists in the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and execution plans.

• Monitors project progress and highlights potential risks related to cost, schedule, or quality.

• Supports the management of change orders and documentation of project variations.

• Contributes to quality assurance processes and promotes compliance with project standards.

• Participates in project meetings and supports the tracking of action items and deliverables.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects or civil works.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure project delivery processes and construction methodologies.

• Developing knowledge of project management principles, standards, and practices.

• Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.

• Eagerness to develop professionally toward full Project Manager responsibility.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach.

• Ability to prepare clear reports, updates, and presentations.
