Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Accounting Specialist - Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will get to complete a broad range of difficult assignments requiring specialized accounting training and experience.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Audits accounts and other financial information for completeness, accuracy and legitimacy of charges, and conformance with accounting procedures.
• Generates and analyzes periodic financial reports, making recommendations regarding status of reserves and assets.
• Closes the general ledger for each period, prepares financial statements, and completes a detailed analysis of account balances.
• Prepares selected tax returns, financial reports, or other reports for government agencies, clients, or senior management.
• Develops and recommends improvements to accounting methods and procedures for area of responsibility.
• Provides guidance to lower-level Accountants and Accounting support personnel.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business (or equivalent) and typically 3+ years of related work experience.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Requires a proficiency in standard accounting techniques and principles, strong written and oral communication skills, and a proficiency in PC software packages typically associated with accounting.
