Job Description:

Wet Utility Inspector
Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wet Utility Inspector to join our team! In this role you will perform site inspections on wet utilities and associated infrastructure works to verify compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, ITPs and applicable standards, while maintaining accurate site records and supporting safe project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Inspect wet utility works (e.g., stormwater, potable water, wastewater/irrigation as applicable) and associated civil works to confirm compliance with specifications and approved plans.

• Verify only approved materials are used; collect and file material compliance documents (e.g., certificates, SDS, inspection tags).

• Maintain daily diaries, reports, photo records, and inspection documentation; track IRs and non-conformances and support timely close-out.

• Witness/coordinate inspections and tests with survey and material testing parties as required.

• Recognize site issues and interface conflicts, propose solutions and escalate to the ARE/RE/Chief Inspector.

• Support as-built records and quantity verification for payment and change work where required.

• Promote job safety practices and ensure works are performed safely with consideration for public safety.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).

• Minimum 5+ years inspection experience on infrastructure/utilities projects, with wet utilities exposure.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications; strong reporting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project systems; good communication and teamwork skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• UAE/Abu Dhabi utilities inspection experience and familiarity with authority requirements.​
