Summer 2026 Transportation Engineering Internship – Tempe, AZ

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in roadway, bridge, and traffic design, including alignments, modeling, and technical analyses.
• Prepare specifications, cost estimates, quantity calculations, and engineering reports.
• Ensure designs meet Federal, State, and local standards.
• Review supplier drawings and assist with technical bid analyses.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What Qualifications You'll Bring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Relevant coursework in transportation, roadway, bridge, or traffic engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software (MicroStation preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

What Desired Qualifications You'll Bring:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Prior internship experience in transportation engineering.

Salary Range: $21.88 - $38.27
