Job Description:
The Technical Senior Manager - Industrialized Design is responsible for the following:
Developing technical design of the industrialized design strategy of THE LINE project.
Ensuring that industrialized design for the project meets all technical and design requirements.
Ensuring consistency and alignment across all disciplines and packages in design and delivery.
Managing the core technical capabilities team and providing technical guidance and support.
Ensuring that the project is compliant with applicable regulations.
Providing technical and design advice and support to relevant designers, engineers and consultants.
Monitoring the progress of the design and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Work closely with the Design Directorate senior leadership team to ensure alignment and coordination.
Work closely with the SME lead to ensure alignment and coordination between the teams.
• Support the Head of ID and take ownership of technical design and engineering matters related to ID.
• Monitor and review technical performance of packages.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the packages.
• Identify and resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with other workstreams in both Design Management and Engineered Design.
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Ensure quality assurance of technical deliverables
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional registration in structural engineering, architecture or related field.
• 15+ years of technical experience on Major Projects and Programmes.
• 5+ years of relevant experience for an MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) contractor.

Software Skills:
• Understanding and awareness of multiple engineering design software.
• Strong technical design background and experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of construction and building codes
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
