Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Director to join our team and support on a high- rise construction project.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage, review and approve the design through all work stages of design development.

• Responsible for workshops, progress meetings and design management meetings with the various stakeholders and will be required to establish the methodology for ensuring the production of complete and approved design, tender and contract documentation.

• Responsible to lead the Construction Supervision Team and Project Engineers to ensure that design criteria / requirements are being adhered to and adequately met.

• Demonstrate broad based knowledge of multi-disciplines design management and oversee the quality and practices of design.

• Lead coordination efforts with other disciplines to ensure proper supervision of all site work related aspects of the projects.

• Closely coordinate with Contractor’s supervision staff regarding works schedule, work sequence and arrangements, resources, and method of work.

• Ensure that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with Quality Management System.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a construction related field

• Minimum 15 years of experience as technical/design lead and construction works on large to mega infrastructure/building programs.

• Experienced in the design and construction of major multi-disciplinary projects including high-rise buildings and long span steelwork structures.

• Qualified as an Engineer and analytical, focused and capable of managing and solving technical issues as they arise.

• Preference for experience in sports venues/ facilities.

• Outstanding client relationship building skills and shall possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
