Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Technical Director/Chief Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supports program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts

• Investigates and resolves defects related to the developed software systems

• Oversees the quality of test activities during the release of products to production

• Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization

• Works with the Program Manager and customer on software architecture, AI/ML Systems and enterprise integration

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
   

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 10+ years of experience

• Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in the primary duties of the job family

• Advanced knowledge of general principles and practices of the functional area

• Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines

• Advanced written and oral communications skills

• Ability to troubleshoot urgent production issues

• Proficient in developing software in one or more operating systems environment (Windows, Linux, etc)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Advanced time management and organizational skills

• Expertise with SAFe methodologies

• Active TS/SCI clearance and be eligible for a Polygraph

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
