Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Government cleared TS/SCI Software Engineering Co-Op to join our team! In this role you will get to work on the Special Programs and Systems Team supporting an operationally deployed system.  We are looking for six-month commitments for co-ops joining our team and you must possess a TS or higher clearance. (Please note that this position is different than our summer internship positions.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Assist with the design, development, and testing of software applications, including writing clean, efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• DevOps: Learning how our systems are built and determining the best ways to automate quality assurance, upgrade, and build steps across complex software stacks
• Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to support the development of software tools and data-driven solutions.
• Problem Solving: Contribute to solving technical challenges by leveraging software engineering and computer science
• Learning and Development: Participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and workshops. Gain exposure to a variety of technologies and methodologies in both software engineering and computer science.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a TS or higher clearance
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: 

$61,200.00 - $107,100.00
