Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Software Developer to join our team! In this role, you will support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Project Delivery team with a heavy focus on the Deltek Costpoint Application. You will engage in various business and technical tasks that span all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop, test, and maintain integrations and extensions for Deltek Costpoint
• Leverage APIs (e.g. Costpoint, Concur, etc.) to enhance functionality throughout the organization
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices and standards
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Provides advice to end users, assists in resolving standard operational issues and supports senior staff in resolving complex issues
• Conducts required research and fact finding, prepares detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written, develops flowcharts, designing prototypes and mockup-designs, and logic diagrams
• Leads the analysis and evaluation of application functionality; provides recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities
• Participates in identifying and evaluating end user requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders; provides data for and assists in developing standard appropriate and cost-effective application solutions
• Develops general specifications for application development solutions by analyzing new and existing system functions as well as documenting the information obtained from the end user

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• 10+ years of related experience preferred
• Experience developing Deltek Costpoint extensions
• Experience with Java console and web application development
• Spring/Spring Boot framework development
• Relational database development (SQL)
• Experience developing web services (e.g. RESTful, SOAP)
• Experience working with web service data formats (e.g. JSON, XML)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with collaborative development tools (e.g. Git, Jira)
• Experience with .NET console and web application development (e.g. VB, C#)
• Experience with command-line shell and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, VBscript)

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
