Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards. From massive infrastructure builds to urban developments—are delivered with the technical excellence Parsons is known for.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Site Supervision: Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring contractors adhere to project drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

  • Inspections & RFI Management: Conduct site inspections and manage Requests for Information (RFIs). Review and approve Material Submittals and Shop Drawings in coordination with the design team.

  • Safety Leadership: Enforce strict adherence to Parsons’ HSE policies and local Saudi safety regulations to ensure a zero-incident workplace.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor contractor schedules and progress. Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to the Construction Manager.

  • Quality Control: Participate in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, including testing and commissioning phases.

  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve technical site issues and provide practical engineering solutions to unforeseen field conditions.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed daily site diaries, weekly progress reports, and "as-built" documentation.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) from an accredited university.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in site engineering and construction supervision on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and international/Saudi building codes.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to lead contractor meetings effectively.

  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

  • Active membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

  • Experience working with international consultants or on Saudi Giga-projects (e.g., DGDA, NEOM, or ROSHN).

  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and standard construction management software (Procore, Aconex, or similar).
