Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a qualified and proactive Site Architect to join our team! In this position, you will oversee architectural works on site, ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and codes, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality finishes and successful project handover.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supervising and monitoring architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Reviewing and endorsing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and samples/mock-ups for architectural elements and finishes.
Coordinating interfaces between architectural, structural, MEP, façade, and landscape works to resolve clashes and maintain design integrity.
Conducting inspections and QA/QC checks; managing RFIs, technical queries, NCRs, and corrective actions.
Overseeing architectural finishes, façade systems, waterproofing, firestopping, and acoustic details.
Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, fire and life safety, accessibility requirements, and authority approvals.
Managing mock-ups and sample boards; leading material selection and approvals with consultants/clients.
Monitoring progress, maintaining site records (redlines/as-builts), and preparing daily/weekly reports and dashboards.
Participating in site meetings, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and resolving construction issues promptly.
Leading snagging/punch lists, close-out inspections, and handover documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Supporting change management and variations while safeguarding design intent and cost/quality objectives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
10 years of site-based architectural experience on building projects (e.g., residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, finishes, and façade systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit/BIM; strong skills in Microsoft Office and document review tools (e.g., Bluebeam).
Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, building codes, fire and life safety, and accessibility standards.
Proven ability to review shop drawings, submittals, and method statements and perform site inspections.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous site documentation.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience in the Middle East/GCC and familiarity with local authority processes and approvals.
Experience with high-spec fit-outs, façade performance testing, and waterproofing systems.
Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and material approval workflows.
