Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Strategic Planner (Framework Lead) to join our team! In this role you will get to work alongside mobility experts in the development of a large city in Saudi Arabia by aligning with key stakeholders to update city frameworks and other mobility governance policies and procedures.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Building a wide network of key program stakeholders across development districts
- Analyzing the city framework plan to understand the demands for changes and updates
- Fact checking existing trackers
- Coordinating with stakeholders to align mobility reports with other discipline reports
- Logging the backlog of changes to the city framework plan and other governance reports
- Marking up and recommending city framework plan report modifications
- Managing the schedule of city framework plan updates, including internal stakeholder communications
- Managing staff to perform document management and graphic design duties within the team
- Participate in management meetings and activities with the Mobility team
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Master's in Urban Planning, Public Policy, or equivalent
- 15+ years experience authoring or substantially revising policy documents
- Expertise in planning legislation, demographic analysis, and land-use economics
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work within culturally-diverse team and quickly establish key relationships
- Experience working on giga projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
