Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations. You’ll be a critical member of a small team, responsible for bringing your software architecture and development capabilities to bear on a critical national security mission. Join our team of best-in-industry cyber warriors who are dedicated to providing superior service in support of national defense objectives.
What You'll Be Doing:
Contribute to server-side components in Python; Rapid prototyping of server side tooling
Integrating with Django web systems to support client needs
Allocate tasking to support larger-scale CNO tool development
Developing frameworks used by other engineers to build applications and services
Developing advanced proxy systems
Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integrating these technologies into the existing tools
Develop documentation on new or existing systems.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in exploit / CNO tool development
8+ years of python development experience within small to large applications
Experience with network programming
Experience with Linux as a development network
Experience with Version control, specifically GITLAB
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
U.S. Citizenship is required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with Django, Pytest, DevOps, and Docker
Low level systems networking
Experience with C / C++
Master’s degree in related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of AI assisted workflows
Strong Python Debugging experience
