Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer ( Saudi National) to join our construction management team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is executed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with the project’s technical specifications and design drawings. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will serve as a critical bridge between the design office and the field, solving complex technical challenges in real-time to keep the Kingdom’s most ambitious projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Supervision: Manage and oversee daily construction activities, ensuring contractors adhere to approved plans, shop drawings, and Method Statements.

  • Technical Coordination: Resolve technical issues and "clashes" on-site by coordinating with the design and engineering teams to provide practical, immediate solutions.

  • Safety Leadership: Enforce rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring all site personnel follow safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident environment.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor site progress against the baseline schedule. Identify potential delays and work with contractors to develop recovery plans.

  • Quality Assurance: Witness site inspections and testing (ITPs), ensuring all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

  • Documentation: Review and approve daily site reports, material submittals, and Request for Information (RFI) documents.

Required Qualifications

  • Nationality: Must be a Saudi National.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of field experience in site engineering and construction management, specifically on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.

  • Professional Membership: Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with project management tools like Primavera P6 or BIM (Revit/Navisworks).

Preferred Skills

  • Language: Fluency in Arabic and English (both spoken and written) is essential for coordinating with diverse project teams.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and lead junior engineers in a high-pressure site environment.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret complex blueprints and foresee logistical challenges before they impact the construction timeline.

  • Communication: Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills to manage on-site stakeholder relationships.

Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
