Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior MEP Engineer – Supervision Consultant to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and deliver the on-site MEP works for major infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will oversee the construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications. The scope includes infrastructure utilities such as sewer, stormwater, irrigation,..etc.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervise site activities for all MEP works related to:

  • Sewer Pumping Station and network.

  • Storm Water network

  • Irrigation Pumping Stations and network

  • Potable Water Pumping Station and Network.

  • Secondary Pressure Reducing Station (SPRS) and Gas network

  • Electrical Substations and Power Supply Networks

• Coordinate with main and subcontractors to ensure quality execution, timely completion, and resolution of technical issues.

• Monitor, inspect, and verify installation works against approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.

• Laise with the design team to resolve any design issues that arise during the construction and ensure timely issuance of revised drawing or clarifications.

• Review/Respond to contractor’s  request for information RFI related to MEP works.

• Review and approve MEP method statements, ITPs, material submittals, and shop drawings.

• Oversee snagging and de-snagging works and follow up with contractors to close outstanding issues.

• Witness and document Testing & Commissioning activities in coordination with contractors and relevant local authorities.

• Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

• Liaise and coordinate with local authorities in Abu Dhabi (e.g., ADDC, ADM, ADSSC, ADWEA, Transco, TAQA, etc.) for inspection, approval, and handover of MEP assets.

• Provide technical support to the Resident Engineer and report site progress, risks, and issues.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in UAE-Abu Dhabi on similar infrastructure projects.

• Proven experience in MEP supervision for pumping stations, substations, and utility networks.

• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi service authorities’ requirements for asset handover, testing, and commissioning.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with contractors, subcontractors, and authorities.

• Proficient in reviewing technical documents and construction drawings.
