Job Description:

Are you a seasoned safety and security professional with a passion for creating safe and secure environments? We are seeking a Senior Manager – Safety & Security to lead and oversee all aspects of safety and security for a high-profile Facilities Operations Managing Agent Project in Riyadh. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the safety of employees, visitors, contractors, and assets by developing and implementing robust safety and security strategies, policies, and procedures that align with local regulations, international standards, and organizational objectives.

As the Senior Manager – Safety & Security, you will collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of safety and security excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in safety and security management, as well as the ability to manage risks and respond effectively to incidents.

What You'll Be Doing:

Safety & Security Leadership:

• Develop, implement, and oversee safety and security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment across all FM operations.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local safety and security regulations, including Saudi Arabian laws, and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate safety and security risks, implementing proactive measures to minimize potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Incident Management:

• Oversee the investigation of safety and security incidents, ensuring root causes are identified, corrective actions are implemented, and lessons learned are shared.

Emergency Preparedness:

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring readiness for potential crises, including fire, medical emergencies, and security threats.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal departments, contractors, and external agencies to ensure alignment on safety and security objectives and protocols.

Training and Awareness:

• Provide training and guidance to employees, contractors, and stakeholders on safety and security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Performance Monitoring:

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety and security operations, driving continuous improvement and accountability.

Technology Integration:

• Leverage advanced safety and security technologies, such as surveillance systems, access control, and incident reporting tools, to enhance operational effectiveness.

Reporting:

• Prepare and present safety and security performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and recommendations for improvement.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related

• field. Master’s degree is highly preferred.

• Minimum 12 years experience in safety and security management, preferably within large-scale projects, facilities, infrastructure, or operational environments with at least 7 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations, risk management practices, and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 27001).

• Proven expertise in developing and implementing safety and security strategies, policies, and procedures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation measures.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Familiarity with safety and security practices in the GCC region, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.

• Relevant certifications in safety and security management are an advantage.
