Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in designing and delivering mission-critical decision-support and situational awareness systems. This senior technical leadership position requires a seasoned professional who can architect enterprise-scale integration solutions, lead complex system deployments, and translate critical operational requirements into deployable capabilities under demanding timelines.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale situational awareness and decision-support software systems to meet mission-critical operational needs

• Lead the design, integration, and deployment of real-time and near-real-time data processing platforms for operational intelligence applications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex operational requirements into deployable software solutions under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments

• Develop and implement advanced geospatial intelligence visualization tools and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) software systems

• Drive technical leadership in modeling, simulation, and operational analytics to support command-and-control workflows and operations center capabilities

Required Clearance:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen

• Candidate must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

• 20+ years experience of software engineering and architecture experience in defense, intelligence, or aerospace sectors

• Expertise in software engineering, enterprise architecture, and solution design

• Proven track record architecting and deploying enterprise situational awareness and decision-support software platforms

• Experience with real-time/near-real-time data integration and operational intelligence software systems

• Demonstrated ability to deliver software systems under extreme time constraints and operational pressure

• Strong background in ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) software systems and operations

• Experience with geospatial intelligence systems and visualization platforms

• Knowledge of modeling, simulation, and operational analytics software

• Understanding of operations center workflows and command-and-control software requirements

• Proficiency in systems integration, data processing, and real-time software architectures

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

• Extensive supporting DoD and/or Intelligence Community customers

• Understanding of military operations, intelligence workflows, and defense acquisition processes

• Familiarity with collection management, targeting, and operational planning software systems

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $80.48 - $151.20
