Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior GIS Specialist to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Will define data parameters for specific geospatial projects/assignments, using advanced analytical techniques necessary to solve complex geospatial and GIS issues, and digitizing geographic information by translating raw land-based data into code.
- Researching, studying, and preparing maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic form.
- Performs more complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- Performs supervisory duties.
- Utilizing experience in all aspects of critical infrastructure protection programs or projects in the areas of homeland security, domestic preparedness, emergency operations, emergency and crisis management, counter terrorism, physical security, and vulnerability assessments.
- Assessing the installation, operations, and other areas of critical infrastructure protection programs
- Reviewing compliance with government and company security policies and procedures
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, data management or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in GIS on large-scale projects and infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with the Master planning and Landscape teams to define and manage technical GIS workflows that enhance and improve our current procedures.
- Perform a wide variety of GIS tasks, including designing, developing, and implementing systems and databases to maintain geospatial data, conducting geospatial analysis, creating maps, processing field data, and confirming quality control. Additionally, you will support the studio with other day-to-day requirements in CAD, BIM and MicroStation works.
- Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working internationally (preference for KSA).
