Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Structure (Design Review) to lead structural design efforts for a diverse range of developments, including residential buildings, commercial complexes, infrastructure facilities, and specialty structures such as bridges and airport facilities.

The role requires expertise in structural engineering design, analysis, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions aligned with client and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage the structural design of buildings, bridges, highways, and specialized infrastructure.

• Perform technical reviews of structural drawings, calculations, and design reports for accuracy and compliance.

• Coordinate closely with architectural, civil, MEP, and geotechnical disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.

• Review and ensure adherence to international and local structural codes and standards.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior structural engineers.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities as needed.

• Support construction phase activities with design clarifications and site technical support.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience in design and analysis.

• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.Pro).

• Strong knowledge of international design codes such as ACI, Eurocode, BS, or equivalent.

• Experience with structural systems for buildings, bridges, and heavy civil infrastructure.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.

• Professional certifications such as PE, CEng, or equivalent.

• Experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East or similar regions.

• Knowledge of seismic, wind, and dynamic load considerations.

• Familiarity with BIM processes and software integration.
