Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team!

In this role, you will oversee the installation, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems across complex building projects, ensuring full compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and regulatory approvals. You will be a key player in maintaining quality, supporting coordination, and driving successful project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervising on-site electrical installations, ensuring alignment with IFC drawings and technical specifications.

• Reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for electrical systems.

• Overseeing and witnessing testing and commissioning procedures for LV/MV systems, ELV, fire alarm, and smart technologies.

• Ensuring all works comply with QCDD regulations, local authority requirements, and international codes.

• Coordinating with MEP disciplines and other trades to resolve clashes and maintain seamless system integration.

• Conducting inspections, verifying compliance with safety standards, and supporting final project handover.

• Participating in technical evaluations and supporting claim assessments related to electrical works.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• In-depth knowledge of LV/MV systems, ELV networks, life safety systems, and smart building technologies.

• Strong expertise in MEP coordination, site supervision, and authority approvals.

• Skilled in reviewing electrical designs, shop drawings, testing protocols, and ensuring code compliance.

• Proficient in local and international electrical standards, including QCDD regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in building services supervision, with at least 3 years in Qatar.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Familiarity with smart systems, energy management platforms, and integrated building technologies.

• Proven experience managing QCDD submissions and securing authority approvals.

• Exposure to high-end residential developments and premium building standards.

• Ability to manage final testing, commissioning, and project close-out documentation with precision.
