Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical BIM SPECIALIST to join our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit! In this role you will Develop and maintain detailed digital models using Building Information Management (BIM) software to achieve alignment with architectural, engineering, project precision, and compliance requirements. Performs a wide variety of modeling techniques and analysis activities to complete difficult/complex assignments while confirming project deliverables are met.  Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a world-class leader in delivering Engineering and Technology enhancing solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients.  With a history of disruption beginning in 1944, we apply our distinct perspective to help our customers confront the issues of tomorrow in every domain - land, sea, air, space, and cyber. Parsons’ numerous programs and long history give us unparalleled experience in program integration, staff support, technology insertion, and on-site support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provides input to the task lead for the development of the BIM implementation baseline schedule at the start of any task.

• Utilizes BIM related software to develop and manage digital models.

• Leads the preparation, review, and execution of implementation/management plans at the program/project level.

• Assesses and confirms BIM accessibility and data accuracy through quality reviews/checks.

• Completes model assurance reports, drafts special provisions, and procurement for digital uses.

• Reviews models for compliance, with oversight.

• Provides input to clients/others working on same project and assists team in responding to client queries and requests.

• Assists in developing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) e.g. standards, methods, and procedures.

• Collaborates with project teams for effective model integration.

• Interfaces with other departments regularly, on matters relating to work assignments. Provides technical guidance/training to junior staff, checks the deliverables of equal-to or less experienced staff.

• Supports the development of training materials and may perform in an advisory capacity to senior management and production staff.

Salary Range: $42.50 - $74.38
