Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Digital Engineering Software Engineer to join our Digital Engineering team! In this role you will get to lead the development and delivery of our client’s Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE) from Version 1.0 through 5.0 over five years. This role is essential for implementing the strategy defined by our Digital Engineering Chief Architect and ensuring seamless integration and interoperability of DEE tools. The candidate will be a key contributor for designing and developing the wrappers and interfaces that connect various digital engineering tools, thereby facilitating data sharing and propagation through digital threads.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting in leading the design, development, and implementation of a Digital Engineering Ecosystem for a Federal Government Client
• Learning multiple Digital Engineering tools (Cameo, Syndeia, & windchill for example) to understand their architecture so that their integration can be accomplished
• Working in an Agile Environment utilizing Program Increments
• Work with the Parsons Digital Engineering Team to ensure Parsons Digital Engineering Best Practices are being followed in the development of DEE, and providing the past performances for the body of knowledge
• Maintain and Continuously improve the Digital Engineering Environment

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years in combined work experience
• Experience in developing wrappers to integrate various tools
• Experience in two or more of the following tools: Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, Syndeia, & Windchill
• Experience working in an Agile Development Environment
• Experience performing code reviews
• Experience working and maintaining a Digital Engineering Environment

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (6 – 8 years in combined work experience)
• Experience in completing the integration of Syndeia with Windchill, Cameo, and Teamwork Cloud

Salary Range: 

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
