Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Commissioning Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre to join our team!
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end commissioning strategy and execution for all critical systems of a fast-track hyperscale data centre project. The project involves complex engineering systems, high utility demand, multiple contractor packages, and targets Uptime Institute Tier III/IV compliance, requiring rigorous commissioning protocols to ensure fault tolerance, maintainability, and operational resilience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and manage the commissioning plan aligned with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV requirements.

• Oversee commissioning of all critical systems including HV/LV electrical, cooling systems, BMS, fire protection, security, and ICT.

• Coordinate Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and ensure redundancy and failover scenarios are validated.

• Lead commissioning meetings, reporting cycles, and issue resolution across stakeholders.

• Ensure all commissioning documentation (scripts, logs, reports) meets audit and certification standards.

• Interface with design consultants, contractors, and client operations teams to ensure alignment.

• Support training and handover to facilities management and operations teams.

• Manage third-party commissioning agents and Tier certification processes.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• 10–15 years in commissioning management, with at least 5 years in mission-critical or data center environments.

• Deep expertise in MEP systems, IST protocols, and Tier certification processes.

• Proven experience in hyperscale data center commissioning and operational readiness.

• Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Certifications from ASHRAE, NEBB, or BSRIA are highly desirable.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV certified facilities.

• Familiarity with commissioning software and digital tools for test tracking and reporting.

• Ability to manage commissioning across multi-package, fast-track delivery environments.

• Strong understanding of operational risk, redundancy, and maintainability principles.
