Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Civil Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the design, planning, and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure systems.

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

• Oversee the construction phase of civil engineering projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Conduct site inspections and supervise junior engineers and contractors to ensure construction activities align with design plans.

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, assisting in resolving engineering issues and providing innovative solutions.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Ensure all civil engineering work complies with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

• Review and approve technical reports, calculations, and deliverables related to civil engineering aspects of the project.

• Identify potential engineering risks and implement strategies to mitigate them during design and construction.

• Ensure that the project remains within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

• Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in infrastructure or airport projects.

• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of quality control.
