Senior CAD Technician/Specialist (Marine)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to develop concept sketches for the marine elements for various projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop concept sketches for the marine projects for various capping beam furniture’s and MEP elements
Undertaking material take-offs and volumetric calculations and cut/fill analysis using Civil 3D (or similar) for marine and landside works as well as dredging and reclamation projects.
Preparation of detailed drawings of various project stages including plans, details, sections, and elevations and details using the CAD/BIM model or software to complete CAD assignments
Performs CAD operations to determine project plans and collect data for designs and engineering-related activities to prepare and produce complex drawings for projects and work packages.
Manage and support Internal Contacts in compiling Tender and As-built documentation (Drawings, As-Builts, and Documents, etc.)
Manage and support ETS team in the development of Master Drawings for all AD Ports Group assets
Development and maintenance of BIM and 3D models and libraries for all the client's Assets.
Carryout the tasks assigned by the Engineering/CAD team on day to day basis
Use of the EDMS system (document management system) of the client
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.
CAD specialist with a minimum of 10 years’ experience including developing sketches for marine projects
Strong knowledge of the various marine elements such as revetments, piles, capping beam, dredging and reclamation works
Basic knowledge of the MEP elements
Knowledge of BIM software, AutoCAD and Revit
Strong knowledge of the CAD standards
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering/CAD team.
Ability to meet stringent timelines
Ability to coordinate with the various teams of the client
