Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Architect to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving architectural works and finishes, ensuring strict adherence to design intent, project specifications, and client expectations. You’ll serve as a key technical authority on-site, coordinating across disciplines to maintain quality, resolve design issues, and support successful project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reviewing and approving architectural submittals, finishes, mock-ups, and material samples to ensure quality and compliance.

• Conducting inspections for detailing accuracy, design conformance, and execution quality.

• Enforcing design intent during site execution while coordinating with contractors and consultants.

• Responding to RFIs, managing design conflicts, and ensuring alignment across trades.

• Monitoring branded residential unit finishes, interior fit-outs, and ensuring they meet client standards.

• Coordinating closely with MEP and structural disciplines to maintain architectural integrity.

• Supporting handover, snagging, and close-out documentation to ensure seamless project completion.

• Ensuring compliance with local codes, regulatory approvals, and sustainability requirements.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Deep expertise in architectural detailing, finishing materials, and high-end design execution.

• Proficiency in drawing review, architectural inspections, and materials approval processes.

• Strong coordination skills across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

• In-depth knowledge of building codes, authority regulations, and international standards.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

• Minimum of 15 years of architectural experience in high-rise or mixed-use projects, with at least 3 years in Qatar.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-based coordination using tools like Navisworks.

• Experience reviewing and managing BIM models in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• Background in branded residential developments and high-end interior fit-outs.

• Familiarity with LEED or sustainability-focused architectural designs.
