Job Description:
Parsons is looking for amazingly talented Security Control Assessor to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure implementation of appropriately applied proper IS security resources.
Job locations: Denver, Colorado and Chantilly, Virginia.
Security Control Assessor - II
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- An active CI POLY OR has had held one previously.
- Experience developing and implementing security related directives and guidance for IA, IT, and IM.
- An active IAM Level II certification (must obtain certification within 6 months of start).
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience as a Security Control Assessor.
- 5 years Coordinating A&A activities of industry and Government information systems and manage and track systems involved in the A&A process.
- 5 years of experience utilizing risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
Security Control Assessor - III
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- An active CI POLY OR has had held one previously.
- Experience developing and implementing security related directives and guidance for IA, IT, and IM.

- 8 years of experience as a Security Control Assessor.
- 8 years Coordinating A&A activities of industry and Government information systems and manage and track systems involved in the A&A process.
- 8 years of experience utilizing risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reviews and evaluates test results and recommends production or design changes to ensure compliance with qualify and performance standards
- Develops and implements procedures for product testing.
- Designs and develops engineering standards and tests to evaluate the functionality of products and systems.
- Performing information systems assessment and authorization (A&A) as defined in applicable ICDs and guidance.
- Performing, developing, and implementing security related directives and guidance for IA/IT/IM.
- Experience utilizing risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
- Coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems and manage and track systems involved in the A&A process.
- Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
