Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Safety Training Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team! The Safety Training Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating safety training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment. This role focuses on fostering a strong safety culture through effective education and continuous improvement of training initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and implement safety training programs tailored to various roles and risk levels.

• Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-site training sessions.

• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with certification requirements.

• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

• Update training materials regularly to reflect changes in regulations, procedures, and best practices.

• Collaborate with HSE teams to align training with safety policies and procedures.

• Assist in incident investigations by identifying training gaps and recommending improvements.

• Support onboarding safety orientation for new employees and contractors.

• Ensure training programs meet regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO).

• Prepare and submit training-related reports and documentation.

• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting safety training.

• Promote safety awareness through campaigns, workshops, and toolbox talks.

• Serve as a resource for employees seeking safety guidance or clarification.

• Participate in safety committees and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in the field of Health, Safety & Environment

• Strong knowledge of HSE industry practices and regulations.

• Requires computer literacy and capable to operate current computer safety programs.

• Strong English verbal and written communications skills is essential.

• Strong presentation and instructional design skills.

• Must have the ability to perform with minimum supervision and be able to work with multi-national workforce.

• Must be culturally sensitive, a team player, and have strong business professional acumen.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred.
