Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Safety Engineer – Saudi National to join our team!
In this role, you will support project safety operations by ensuring full compliance with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP), as well as regulatory and client SH&E requirements across project sites.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist the project or program manager in implementing and administering the safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) program.
- Conduct audits of project sites and activities to verify compliance with Parsons’ corporate SH&E standards.
- Perform regular site inspections to identify safety hazards and provide practical solutions to eliminate or control risks.
- Prepare and submit written audit findings, inspection reports, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Monitor work planning and verify that operations align with safe work practices and Parsons’ ESHARP management system.
- Implement occupational injury, incident reporting, and case management processes.
- Perform trend analysis on audit observations, inspections, and incident data, and prepare analytical reports.
- Support new hire orientations and ensure SH&E onboarding requirements are met.
- Deliver SH&E training sessions in accordance with regulatory requirements and Parsons’ best practices.
- Maintain accurate SH&E training documentation and records.
- Participate in daily and routine safety briefings with project teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external regulatory agencies on SH&E matters.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the project’s safety program and overall performance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety & health or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience in Health and Safety.
- Working knowledge of national SH&E regulations, reporting procedures, and industry standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project environments.
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Familiarity with ISO safety management systems or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide effective technical guidance to site personnel.
