Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Road Safety Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to,
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists the project or program manager with administering the Road Safety, way-finding and SH&E programs.
- Audit the project or program and its worksites against standards.
- Inspect worksites to detect hazard; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards
- Create and submits written Road Safety audit and inspection reports.
- Monitor project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
- Implement Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
- Perform trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular road safety / traffic analysis reports.
- Participate in routine road safe work briefings.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Education and Typical Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Traffic Safety related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of related work experience in the field of Road and Traffic Safety as well as Health and Safety.
