Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Lead to join our team!
In this role you will get for overseeing risk management activities, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization, and leading strategies to minimize potential financial, operational, and strategic impacts.
What You'll be Doing;
- Lead the process of identifying and assessing risks across the organization, ensuring that risks are effectively prioritized.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring that risks are minimized, and business objectives are achieved.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management efforts and key risk indicators (KRIs) to senior management.
- Ensure that risk management strategies comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and address emerging risks.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that risks are managed and mitigated throughout the organization.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of proactive risk management.
- Lead risk response strategies during crises, ensuring the organization is prepared to handle and recover from adverse events.
- Train staff in risk management practices and ensure that all teams are informed of risk management processes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10+ years of experience in risk management or a related field, with proven experience in leading and managing risk initiatives.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing risk initiatives and leading teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications in Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent risk management certifications.
- Industry-specific experience in managing risks, such as in construction, finance, or healthcare.
