Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to , focus on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across projects and business operations.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Conducts risk assessments to identify potential risks, including financial, operational, legal, regulatory, and environmental risks, impacting projects or the business.
• Analyzes risk data and trends to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of various risks, providing insights to management for decision-making.
• Assists in the development and implementation of risk management plans and strategies, recommending appropriate risk mitigation or control measures.
• Monitors and tracks the progress of risk management activities, ensuring that mitigation actions are implemented effectively and on time.
• Collaborates with internal teams, project managers, and stakeholders to develop risk response strategies and ensure proper execution.
• Prepares regular risk reports and dashboards, highlighting risk exposure, trends, and the effectiveness of mitigation actions.
• Assists in the evaluation and management of third-party risks, including contractors, vendors, and other external partners.
• Supports the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen risks and ensure business continuity.
• Provides recommendations for improving risk management processes and tools, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company policies.
• Tracks risk-related documentation, ensuring that all risk mitigation activities are properly documented and auditable.
• Participates in risk management workshops, meetings, and training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of risk management processes across the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support risk management activities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
• Typically 2 years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or related roles
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies, tools, and industry standards
• Strong knowledge of risk management processes, risk assessment techniques, and risk mitigation strategies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate complex risk data to stakeholders clearly and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify key risk factors
• Proficiency in risk management software, MS Excel, and data analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Primavera)
