Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Manager to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide leadership for Quality Control support activities on assigned programs or projects to ensure compliance with customer and Parsons' standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Quality Control Programs, procedures, and training for inspection, examination, and testing personnel.
- Act as the focal point for construction quality issues and their resolutions.
- Review and approve Construction Subcontractor Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, and other quality-related documents.
- Monitor field activities to ensure conformance with applicable codes, standards, policies, procedures, and specific contract requirements.
- Ensure quality inspections and surveillances for commissioning activities are performed and documented.
- Interact regularly with customers, program/project management, and Parsons' Quality and executive management.
- Manage staffing assignments, performance evaluations, and salary administration for Quality Control personnel.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality, or a related field and 10+ years of related construction experience
- Or 15+ years of related work experience in lieu of degree
- Management experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and presentation, as well as advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access).
- Ability to manage and supervise Quality Control personnel and activities effectively.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification (ASQ CMQ or CMQ/OE preferred).
- Certification in one or more areas such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, Structural, HVAC, Welding, or Non-Destructive Examination.
- Familiarity with industry-recognized standards such as DOT, IEEE, AWS, SNT-TC-1a, ACI, or International Code Council.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to interface with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
- Visual acuity and color discrimination as part of employment requirements.
